Institutional Strengthening of the consulting arm of the Public Service of Trinidad & Tobago.

EU-SPONSORED POVERTY REDUCTION PROGRAMME: ESTABLISHMENT OF CIVIL SOCIETY NETWORKS
Facilitation of the establishment of Networks of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Trinidad and Tobago for the EU-sponsored Poverty Reduction Programme in the Office of the Prime Minister (Social Services Delivery). The project objective is to help the CSOs to become stronger and more effective in their efforts to reduce poverty in their respective regions.

REGISTER OF CONSULTANTS IN THE CARIBBEAN REGION
Establishment of a register of consultants from the 16 Caribbean states of the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) for the ACP General Secretariat, Brussels, Belgium.

CARIBCERT
Certification of persons working in the Caribbean hospitality and tourism industry from Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago. 1,522 CARIBCERT Certificates were granted in this phase of the certification programme designed to give persons working in the industry the opportunity to be certified in their respective occupations.

CARIBBEAN-WIDE TOURISM TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT
A survey of tourism training needs of over 1,000 private and public sector Tourism organizations in 25 Member Countries of the Caribbean Tourism Organization, including English- Spanish- French- and Dutch- speaking territories, and an assessment of 24 hospitality and tourism education and training institutions in 13 Caribbean countries.

FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A HOSPITALITY TRAINING INSTITUTE IN ST. LUCIA
A feasibility study for the establishment of a Hospitality Training Institute for the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in St. Lucia.

INSTITUTIONAL STRENGTHENING AND CAPACITY BUILDING OF A NATIONAL LABOR EXCHANGE SYSTEM
Improving, upgrading and computerizing the National Labor Exchange System for the Government of Guyana, South America.
